Trust Fund Grant Programs South Dallas
Fair Park Neighborhood Development Fund (Grants)
The overarching goal of the Trust Fund continues to facilitate economic and community development in the South Dallas/Fair Park community, in the following program areas:
- Business and economic development initiatives
- Housing and community development
- Community service programs to provide job related and human service assistance
Community Based Nonprofit Grant
Terms:
- Available to area 501 © (3) nonprofit organizations
- Up to $35,000 per year, or three (3), years of funding whichever comes first, not to exceed $75,000 total funding
- Requires 100% matching funds at least 75% of which must be in cash Objective: Community development and service programs
Challenge Grant
Terms:
- Available to area neighborhood associations or groups with active memberships
- Up to $5,000
- Requires 100% cash and/or in-kind match
Public Safety Grant
Terms:
- Available to nonprofit organizations and neighborhood groups/associations with active memberships
- Up to $5,000
- Requires 100 hours of volunteer services
Exclusively limited to crime prevention initiatives Resident organizations and nonprofit organizations which are located in Census Tracts 25, 27.01, 27.02, 28, 29, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39.01, 39.02 and 40 are eligible to apply for the programs of the Trust Fund.
