The former Dallas Naval Air Station is bounded by Interstate 30, Loop 12, and Interstate 20. Facility amenities include office structures with multifunction capabilities, a Union Pacific rail line, a training auditorium, and recreational facilities. There is also a highly unique 8,300 foot runway on the property, complete with four aprons, aircraft repair facilities, and full size hangars. This airfield is located eleven miles west of Downtown Dallas.
Current tenants include the Texas Air National Guard, Texas Army Guard, and TXU Electric Company. Vought Aircraft is a corporate neighbor to the west.
