This site offers environmentally related companies an opportunity to situate themselves near the McCommas Bluff solid waste landfill, the second largest landfill in the southwest. This location is also near two of Dallas's water/wastewater treatment facilities. The City of Dallas, in conjunction with Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service and other universities, is constructing a 20,000 square foot research, training, and technology center in the park.
